I can’t decide which is cuter… sitting all pensive under the window, or with lots and lots of the kind of giggles that are contagious!

Lots and lots of contagious giggles will work for this adorable kid. Truly a moment to remember as he turned 1 year. The black and white effects add the charm.

His eyes showed so much fun and laughter doing the photo. Very candid.

They’re both great shots, but I like the pensive. His look is so expressive. Priceless!

I love the texture of the backdrop in the second photo. It reminds me of a classical painting.

My daughter does the finger in the mouth when she laughs, so that photo feels very familiar. And his little teeth peeking through — cute!

I always tell my wife that we don’t always have to make our daughter smile when we’re taking pictures, because she can be just as cute when she is just taking it all in. That’s the funny thing about portraiture, when there is so much pressure to “smile for the camera”.
But I do love the infectious smile photo, too, of course.

You perfectly captured that innocent look in the first shot. They grow up so quickly, I want to hold onto that look as long as possible…
