When photographing any wedding, I aspire to learn as much as I can about the couples so I can best tell the story. Here, within the getting ready photographs, I incorporated some of the bride’s grandmother’s inspirational art in the background who was an artist, and has pasted on, but who’s presence is still clear. Following the ceremony at St. Agnes in Greenwich, CT, we were off the Wainwright House in Rye, NY for the reception. Rows of trees are one of my favorite to photograph, seen here tenting the newly weds. Sunset is one of the best times for a quick stroll to capture the ambiance of the day, as shown below. The very elegant and crisp bridal party attire with the vintage chic table settings made me feel as though not a detail was missed in planning this wedding.

This beautiful summer wedding shows off details with great personalized touches! This wedding is an inspiration for anyone looking to plan a wedding with DIY accents. The table placement holders included My Jones Soda with customized labels and personalized bottle koozies. The invitations were designed by the bride’s sister, well she is a graphic designer so maybe that is not so much DIY, but still unique. The floral design was by Connecticut Designer of the Year, Tony Palmieri AIFD of Datura: A Modern Garden with vintage eclectic center pieces… major wow factor! From a ceremony departure in a classic Chevrolet to a sparkler exit from the reception, this couple left no stone unturned when designing their wedding. I’m so happy for this awesome couple!

Many personal touches were sprinkled throughout this wedding for a fun and memorable day.

Anne & Timothy’s ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Church in Ridgefield, CT with floral arrangements by Confetti-Events. Following that, Michael’s Limo escorted the bridal party the Ridgewood Country Club of Danbury CT, where we took out golf carts for bridal party portraits.

The signature cocktail was a Blueberry Mojito, which complimented the Blueberry wedding cake. Customized little white boxes with a pouch of seeds were the perfect late spring wedding favor. Wedding toasts had the party in stitches, and The John Malino Band took the party into the night.

In the Catskills, this charming Mountain House is a treasure for anyone who finds it! The Onteora Mountain House was where this fun couple, who met through street hockey and Scrabble, had their wedding ceremony and reception. This beautiful location within the Catskills has breathtaking views of the mountain valley, and is only complimented by the talented catering and courteous people who work here. Within a couple hours from NYC, this location could make a great destination wedding site for anyone looking within the metro area!

The bride in her gorgeous dress brought everyone to tears as her father entered the suite to walk her down the isle. The groom could not resist taking his own iPhone snaps of her coming down the isle. Can you blame him? The beautiful floral arrangements helped complete the ambiance of this mountain view reception room as the couple celebrated with their friends and family with personal touches from The DJ Solution.
